Our WordPress plugin makes it easy to get Muut working on your website in just a few steps.
The first step to using any plugin or Muut community is to create a Muut community. - Captain Obvious.
If you would like to use a new community for your WordPress page head to muut.com or your account page to create a community.
Muut for Wordpress can be automatically installed directly from your WordPress administrator dashboard using the WordPress.
Go to Plugins > Add New.
Type "Muut" into Search Plugins box.
Your search results should show our Muut Plugin.
Click Details for more information.
The resulting installation screen will list the installation as successful or note any problems during the install.
The manual install is a special case scenario and is not recommended for most users.
Once installed, select Muut from the sidebar of your WordPress dashboard. Before Muut is useable you must enter your forum name on this page — be sure to hit save. If you plan on using Muut for commenting on your WordPress pages and/or blogs be sure to select the box saying you wanted to use Muut for commenting.
Check out what you can do with the Muut for Wordpress plugin add a new page. You'll see that there are three tabs (or two, if you haven't enabled Use muut for post commenting):
The Channel and Forum tabs are only available on pages (not blog posts, or other post types). The Commenting tab, however, is accessible on all post types. More details about the available tabs is contained further in this document.

In some rare cases, the plugin may not post the forum or comments correctly. If you're having issues, try displaying your community using shortcodes:

enable flat commenting[muut forum="true"]
enable forums[muut threaded="true"]
enable threaded commenting[no-muut]
disable the automatically installed commenting[muut path="/wordpress"]
enable commenting with on a specified path
